Southway is led by two experienced producers and storytellers with long-standing careers across major global platforms — including Disney, Netflix, Sony/Teleset, Telemundo Studios, and Azteca Internacional. Their combined work spans fiction, documentaries, youth content, and cross-border productions throughout Latin America.
XIMENA CANTUARIAS · Co-Founder & CEO
Ximena Cantuarias is a Mexican-Peruvian producer and executive with over 30 years of experience in the Latin American media and entertainment industry. She previously served as Senior Vice President of Scripted Production at Telemundo Studios, leading major scripted franchises such as La Reina del Sur 3, Buscando a Frida, Jugar con Fuego, and Rosario Tijeras. She has also held key roles at Sony/Teleset Mexico and TV Azteca.
Ximena is the Co-Founder & CEO of Southway Productions.
VALERIA MARTINO · Co-Founder & Creative Director
Valeria Martino is an Argentine–Mexican Executive Producer and writer specializing in narrative development and multi-country productions. She has produced projects for Disney, Netflix (Las Hermanas Guerra, stand-up specials), Telemundo (La Reina del Sur 3, Parientes a la Fuerza), and independent documentaries such as Frontera.
Valeria is the Co-Founder & Creative Director of Southway Productions.
